WebQuest has been defined as "inquiry-oriented" in which all data and information are designed online for the use of the leaners to engage with Internet tools, concentrating on using the provided data rather than searching for it, developing learners' critical and creative thinking and encouraging learners to manage their time (Dodge,2001). When the teacher creates the target activity, learners will access it through the following stages: "Introduction, Task, Process, Evaluation and Conclusion" (Milson and Downey, 2001). Throughout WebQuest the teacher is the instructor and not the feeder of the knowledge (March, 1998). WebQuest has been integrated into various courses for educational purposes since 1995 when it was enlightened by Berine Dodge with Tom March at San Diego State University (Dodge, 2001). From a personal perspective, WebQuest is a technological tool that is highly effective to use with your students and to create an interactive environment. It is an appealing model as students enjoy using technology through their learning process. It provides instructions and directions to learners and teachers only guide them.

Lesson Plan
The purpose of this WebQuest is to enable students to produce a concise guide to historic "Leptis Magna" in Libya. They are going to investigate certain points. This writing task will be done through a week under teacher's instructions as learners at intermediate level require guidance most of the time. Learners are going to work in groups of four, each one is responsible for one section.
Task = Writing task, to create a concise guide to "Leptis Magna".
Level = Intermediate level\ adult.
Interaction = Working as group of four.
Aim = Using technology to create a WebQuest.
- Teacher should show leaners how they can access WebQuest through the website, click here.
- For this task, I would recommend that learners work as a group using the computers in the Lab, so they explore information, exchange ideas and help each other which enhances collaborative environment.
- I would suggest also doing feedback as a group, so students learn from their mistakes and others'.
- All the work will be evaluated according to specific criteria.
