First thing you need to know about the home of English language is the location. Where is it? Click here is a really interesting video with simple and clear vocabulary talking about the UK including its location, population, famous people such as the Queen and the Prime Minister and also about its capital. Enjoy watching this video and for learners remember you are improving your listening as well.
Click here I have added a good website which gives more details about the UK, in a higher level of English than the above video. For teachers, it is worth it to get more knowledge about a place you teach its language and for learners it is a good opportunity to improve your reading. It is a little bit higher than your level but you can give it a try especially if you connect it with the video you watched before.
