IWB is an output of high technology (Zu-qin, 2008). Personally, I had been first exposed to the Interactive whiteboard in the UK through my master's degree studies and I have found it particularly a useful tool to prepare your lesson. Due to its interactivity for teachers and learners alike it has the advantages to be an effective tool in a classroom, besides its clarity for all the class and integrating its images, videos and maps with the traditional lessons and the way it protects its data. All of this makes it a significantly demanded tool in the class now. However, its negative sides is that it is really expensive and cannot be afforded everywhere. Also it is a demanding tool in terms of training teachers and using particular software. One of its biggest cons is that it is very sensitive and if it has a technical issue it affects the whole lesson, especially in listening classes as its speakers sometimes do not work properly.
