Virtual Learning Environment (VLEs)
VLE is an effective system used to deliver material to the learners online. It was first developed in 1990s, its purpose is to enhance learning and teaching process via the Internet (O'Leary and Ramsden,2002). Now most schools and universities have an access to VLE in their programs, because of its flexibility and availability, it is not only for full-time learners but also for learners who cannot come regularly to the campus, it gives them an opportunity to access online resources, content and assessments. However, one of its drawbacks is that there is no personal contact through the learning process. To avoid overloading, it needs to be accurately planned. This tool needs to be guided.(O'Leary and Ramsden,2002).

Build your Course Online
You can build your course online through a few steps, you need to sign up, create your course theme, and the body then you will be able to invite your learners and customise it. Click here to watch a tutorial for the first steps of building your course. Here are other tutorials that I have accessed by my tutor through New Technology classes, they will give more details. Please do watch them by clicking here. Due to its flexibility and convenience, the online course is more appropriate for today's teachers and learners. It saves time and money and encourages learners to be autonomous and work independently. An online discussion board gives learners a lot of time to post their response and develop it. However, learners will not be able to work on a group project face to face, which provides less valuable interactive experience (Serlin, 2005).
