Hello dear teachers and learners
This is Rabha Hassan, I am Libyan, I am a Master's degree student in ELT at De Montfort University now. I had taught English in Libya for a while before I came to study in the UK. My main target was to be a qualified English teacher to deliver the correct English from a native English speaking country based on the appropriate techniques and strategies for teaching, and De Montfort University has provided me with the ideal standards through diverse range of modules, lectures, workshops and presentations which highly enhanced my confidence. Why I have chosen to be an English teacher? English now is a contact language all over the world, people need English for everything and to be an essential factor in your country supporting others to learn this international language the most incredible thing ever. When I was learning English I used to ask myself how can I improve my English language? Eventually when I have came to the UK, I have been taught that to improve your English surround yourself with it. Even though your contact with English is limited in Libya, you have to create an environment that encourages you to improve within your daily life and do *think outside the box. This website has been guided by my native tutor which makes me confident to publish it. Please do post any comments in the blog that you find useful or any ideas you come up with to make this site more beneficial for teachers and learners.
Enjoy visiting and exploring it
